PocketChat is a streaming companion application that aggregates live chat and stream management features across multiple platforms. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
By connecting your accounts through PocketChat, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
PocketChat connects to the following streaming platforms via OAuth 2.0:
When you authorize PocketChat with a platform, we receive an OAuth access token and (where applicable) a refresh token. These tokens are stored securely on the PocketChat backend and are used exclusively to operate the app's features on your behalf.
All data collected is used solely to provide PocketChat's core functionality:
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party. Your OAuth tokens and account data are never used for advertising, analytics resale, or any purpose beyond operating the app features you explicitly activated.
PocketChat uses the YouTube API Services to read live chat messages and retrieve channel information. By using PocketChat's YouTube integration, you also agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:
PocketChat accesses Google user data via the YouTube Data API, including live chat messages and channel information. This data is used exclusively to provide application functionality.
We do not share Google user data with third parties except when required to provide functionality (e.g. text-to-speech services).
Google user data is not used for advertising or analytics purposes.
You can revoke PocketChat's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Permissions page.
OAuth tokens are retained as long as your account is connected to PocketChat. Chat messages and stream metadata are processed in real time and are not stored persistently in the database.
You can disconnect any platform at any time from within the PocketChat app. Upon disconnection, the corresponding OAuth tokens are deleted from the backend immediately. To request full deletion of all data associated with your account, contact us via the address below.
PocketChat stores OAuth tokens in a server-side SQLite database. The backend runs on a secured VPS with HTTPS enforced on all endpoints. Only authenticated users can access their own tokens — no cross-user data access is possible.
Third-party TTS providers (such as ElevenLabs) receive only the text content of chat messages when TTS is active. No account credentials or tokens are shared with TTS providers.
