1. About pocketChat

pocketChat is an independent streaming companion app developed by romestylez. It brings supported live chats, stream events, and streaming tools together. These terms apply when you use the pocketChat app or website.

2. Accounts and connected platforms

You are responsible for using accounts that belong to you or that you are authorized to manage. Connecting a platform is optional and requires that platform's authorization. You can disconnect a platform from the Accounts screen in pocketChat.

The TikTok connection currently verifies the TikTok account you authorize and displays its username and connection status. It does not currently read TikTok LIVE chat, gifts, likes, or other LIVE events. pocketChat requests the TikTok user.info.profile permission for this account-linking feature.

Your use of Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, and other third-party services remains subject to their own terms and policies. pocketChat is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those services.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use pocketChat to violate another service's rules or another person's rights, interfere with the app or its backend, or attempt to access accounts or data without authorization. You remain responsible for messages, content, and actions sent through connected platform accounts.

4. Availability and changes

Features depend in part on third-party platforms, their APIs, and network availability. Those services may change or restrict their APIs, which can make a pocketChat feature unavailable. pocketChat may be changed, suspended, or discontinued as needed to maintain or improve the service.

5. Disconnecting and deleting account data

You can disconnect a linked platform at any time in pocketChat. Disconnecting TikTok removes the stored TikTok connection from the pocketChat backend and requests token revocation from TikTok. See the Privacy Policy for details about data handling and deletion requests.

6. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, pocketChat is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or compatibility with third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

These terms may be updated when the service or its legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
